All drama classes are held in RRCAA recital hall, 49 Park St., Madison Village.

A 5% early bird discount is given for all art classes paid in full one week prior to start of class.

Classes are held in 8 week sessions.

ANIMAL TALES  (Ages 3 - 5)
Join the fun of bringing an animal tale to life using creative dramatics and dramatic storytelling.  Add costumes and make-up to the story and we are ready to perform!

READY, SET, ACT!  (Ages 6 - 10)
Drummers need drums, painters need paint, soccer players need a soccer ball.  When you are an actor, YOU are your “instrument” - a voice, a body, and an imagination.  Have fun developing your actor’s instrument through theater games and creative drama.  Classes will include the play itself, costumes, make-up, head shots, bios, a program and best of all, a chance to perform for a live audience!

READERS’ THEATER  (Ages 11 - 17)
Dread standing up in front of a crowd and giving a speech?  Learn to control those knocking knees and nervous hands. in a safe and fun way while speaking from a text.  Students will learn how to express themselves vocally and bring life to scripted work.  ASD integrated.

KINGS & QUEENS  (Ages 3 - 5)
Preschoolers have fun bringing kings, queens, elephants and other creatures to life using creative dramatics and dramatic storytelling.  Add costumes and makeup and they are ready to perform!  A caregiver must accompany each child.

IMAGINATIONS IN ACTION  (Ages 6 - 10)
Get the Imagination in Action this spring.  Using the popular storybook, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, by Judi Barret, as a springboard, youth will create and perform a play with costumes, make-up, head shots, bios and a program.

IMPROV & MURDER?  (Ages 11 - 17)
Using improvisation skills and imaginations students will create a murder mystery and all the characters involved . . . are you game?  ASD integrated.

AUDITION WORKSHOP FOR TEENS  (Ages 13 - 19)
Love to act but hate to audition?  Audition Workshop for Teens will help to take the fear out of auditioning.  Day one of this 2-part workshop will focus on how to choose and perform a song for musical theater auditions, how to give effective cold readings, and basic audition do’s and don’ts.  Day two will focus on how to choose, analyze, stage and perform audition monologues.  Students will complete the class with an audition-ready, age appropriate monologue.  Get all the benefits of instructor Sandy Kosovich Pecks’s 30+ years of experience as an actor, director, choreographer and stage manager and learn to love auditioning.
